Associate Counsellor

Hi, I am Eduardo,

For the past 15 years, I have supported people with complex mental health issues. I have a special interest in helping individuals overcome anxiety disorders, depression, phobias and addictions. 

Living with high levels of anxiety, shame or fear for a prolonged period, can negatively affect the way we perceive ourselves and others. It can make you feel misunderstood, lonely  and disconnected from society; ultimately you could develop symptoms of depression. Dealing with these symptoms can feel overwhelming. However, having a safe place where you are able to talk freely can be the first step towards understanding and processing painful emotions. I will work with you to help you gain the skills you need to achieve better emotional control.   

Taking steps to make an initial appointment can be tough, but the improvement that counselling could make to your quality of life is more than worth it.

Whether you wish to explore the past, want to understand current issues, or feel you are ready to make a positive change in your  life, we can work together to achieve your goals. I will provide you with a safe space that is free of judgement, where you can talk and learn more about your thoughts and feelings. Through insight, exploration and adaptation I can  help you to reach your personal development ambitions.

I employ an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on a range of methodologies to best suit your needs. We can engage Cognitive Behavioural techniques to identify negative thought patterns and to analyse their impact on your feelings and behaviour. We can also use a Dialectical Behavioural  approach  to help you to manage emotions more effectively. A Compassionate approach can be useful to examine your past experiences (such as feelings of guilt and self-criticism), Psychodynamic and  humanistic methods can be helpful to not only explore your history,  but to also uncover sources of internal strength which can to used to make positive changes.
